Summer is ending, it's bittersweet.
Our car didn't pass safety. And really, I'm not surprised. Mom and Dad are currently looking at two cars, a '92 Dynasty and a '95 Geo Metro, 199/152 clicks respectively. 2 grand each. From what I hear (because I have no clue what either look like), the Geo is the way to go. Who knows? Either way, I think if we get a somewhat decent car, I'll buy a CD player for it, because I'm really sick of just having the radio.
With that, I'm going to bed, to prepare myself for another 11 hour day.

Running, Money and Books (or, running out of money, due to buying books. ha, clever or what).
Still haven't been to the gym. Yesterday marked two weeks without exercise. Luckily, I seem to still be keeping off the weight because those pants I bought at JC last week are now, a little bit too big on me. Whether it's just them being worn in, or more weight being shed, I'm unsure, but not complaining in the least. I have the night off, I might see if someone wants to catch a movie, if not, I'll probably hit the gym. It will feel good to run.
Other than that I've still been working like crazy. It's kind of bittersweet, all this working. By bittersweet I mean it sucks because I have to work, but it gives me money. Not that it matters, I haven't managed to save any money all summer which has me totally bummed out. Mom mentioned the other night that I must have a huge bank account what with all the work I have been doing. But honestly, between gas, internet/cell phone (phone cards, I did end up cancelling the phone with Aliant), and my going out downtown with Kat (where honestly, I don't spend THAT much money), and my shopping (let's be serious, when was the last time I've shopped and ENJOYED it? Anyone who knows me knows I usually hate it because I can never FIND anything)...So do I feel guilty I haven't saved any money? Yes. But, when school starts, I'm putting away half of every paycheck. And I mean it.
I have to buy books. My Math book I can't get used, my Neuroscience book I can (but they're all hilited, so I might just pay full price for it), Chemistry book I already have, but it's a newer version, so I might cough up the $120 for it (it comes with a fancy computer book thingy, so who knows, I'll talk to my prof on the first day I guess), and I bought my Animal Diversity book today (I bought it used, in PERFECT condition, NO hiliting, for $71.20 as opposed to $94 something plus tax).
And, Meghan says she'll go to a movie with me, so that brings me to the end of this post! Ciao!

My eyes are better, but...
That is digusting. I truly want to vomit.
In other news...Not working out much lately, but I'm still losing weight I think. A size that never used to fit me at Jacob Connexion now fits me (with a bit of room to spare!). The pants look wicked on me, and just last week I bought a pair jean capris-size 32!!
Plus, last night at the theatre while wearing a blue halter top and my fancy white skirt I bought in England, a girl I used to work with (she quit), came up to me and exclaimed about how much weight I've lost. I have to say, it feels good. And motivates me to try harder! I'll be heading down to the gym on Saturday (I haven't worked out since LAST Wednesday, and that was just a run to the tracks and back!!)!!
Anyways, this is all!

So, *ahem* this is probably NOT good...
I don't know what is wrong with me. But for the past, I don't know... week or whatever, my eyes have been really watery and itchy. Usually later at night, as I get tired. Normally, I rub them, and I wake up and everything's fine. Lately, I've been waking up to a blood shot eye and a little eye snot. This morning, after a really bad itchiness last night, I wake up to TWO bloodshot eyes, and puffy bags down to my cheeks. Seriously, my eyes are so swollen. I don't know what it is, maybe the lack of sleep I've been getting, or maybe it's an allergic reaction. It has to be a developed allergic reaction though, because I've been around the same things...there is nothing new that I've been around for me to be allergic too.
I'm hoping it's just the lack of sleep. Seeing as how I worked all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, I was scheduled to work all day today, I have to work all day yesterday and Friday. I didn't think the insane shifts I've been working would have a huge affect on me, but clearly, they have.
Either way, I'm glad I gave my shift to Trafton, I'm probably not going into the daycare today, and I'm going to have to call Shari and/or Krystyna and let them know that if my eyes haven't calmed down by 1030 or so, I won't be going into the Mount with them today, based on the fact that I look like a freakin' zombie.
Cheers.

You miss me, you miss me not.
I know, I know. It's been a very long time since you were given a glimpse into the mind that is Stacy. But, get used to dissapointment. I've been working 4 shifts at the theatre pretty much every week, with 4 mornings at the daycare. Between all this work, sleeping, and trying to maintain my ever so dying social life, blogging is not a top priority. It is however, at the back of my mind. Needless to say I've been very tired lately, and it's not going to get better. The other supervisor has the brilliant plan to bike to Cape Breton and hunt moose with a knife (okay, he's kidding about the moose hunting, but he's really biking it, I swear!!). Anyways, he leaves Sunday and won't be back until Saturday sometime. Derek has every intention of having me work Sunday-Saturday. I'm not all that sure how I feel about this, as they will all be double shifts. Now, I'm not sure how he's going to manage that, as I'll obviously go above 48 hours/wk. We'll see though I guess. bah! Work!! *shakes fist*
Out with the old, in with the new?
Walmart has a sale on desks. I can get a nice little computer desk for my room equipped with keyboard tray and CD shelf for $48. Now, I really don't like my current desk, as it's huge and takes up an entire wall of my room. However, everything that's stored in its drawers I use. And everything that is spread out across the vast surface of the desk I use as well. But at the same time, I really want this desk, I want a new desk. I just don't know if it will accomadate everything I have...Even though I soon plan on buying a flatscreen LCD monitor, one that doesn't take up every bit of space I have...Anyways, I'll just have to think about it, I have other things to save my money up for like...
Tdot!!!
I'm very excited to say the least. 29 sleeps!!
